The Student Success Roadmap provides a year-by-year plan with ways to make the most of your academic and co-curricular experiences at Albertus Magnus College. Following the Roadmap will also prepare you for a timely graduation and a successful career. By taking these steps and using campus resources available to you, you will become a part of a vibrant college community as you better yourself and society.

  • Explore Study Abroad Opportunities
  • Participate in Career Development Workshops
  • Complete Professional Development Seminar
  • Create your resume, cover letter, and a professional LinkedIn profile
  • Attend the Service Fair
  • Attend the Major, Minor & Albertus Grad School Fair
  • Attend Career & Internship Fairs
  • Begin to make plans for your Internship
  • Update your ePortfolio
  • Develop a long-term plan of classes with your Academic Advisor
  • Continue to develop career readiness skills by being involved in school, community & leadership positions
  • Review summer jobs/internship opportunities
  • Complete the Focus2 Career Assessments
  • Secure your Internship & complete the paperwork on Handshake
  • Finalize your Internship, complete paperwork & evaluations on Handshake
  • Attend the Service Fair

  • Shadow a professional in a career of interest
  • Begin to develop your post-grad plans: graduate school or employment
